ABOUT LISA JOHNSON

Catholic Brand
& Web Designer
for Women Entrepreneurs

Guiding Catholic Businesswomen with Purposeful Brand, Web, and Graphic Design

I’m Lisa: founder of Verve & Concord, brand and web designer, strategist, and mom. I help Catholic women entrepreneurs build brands rooted in clarity, courage, and conviction, so they can confidently lead with faith and purpose.

I’ve been a designer since 2012 and have held various positions in the industry, from junior designer to design director. I felt a tug toward entrepreneurship throughout my career, but didn’t make the leap of faith (pun intended) until 2021. Coincidentally, I was blessed to get pregnant at the same time I started Verve & Concord, and spent the rest of the year growing both my baby and my business.

I’m a cradle Catholic whose faith has gone through waves of highs and lows, but getting pregnant and becoming a mother strengthened my love for God and the Church. In the fringe hours of motherhood (naptimes, bedtimes, etc.) I continued to design for a variety of clients. Meanwhile, my conviction in my faith grew, and so did the realization that it needed to be integrated with my vocation as a creative.

So now, Verve & Concord aims to serve women who are doing meaningful work and need a brand that reflects the mission behind it. Whether you’re launching something new or leveling up what already exists, I’ll help you bring it into alignment—visually, strategically, and spiritually.

I believe beauty is a reflection of truth, order brings peace, and business can be a form of stewardship. My work is designed to support that.

A Little Bit More About Me

When I’m not designing under Verve & Concord, you’ll find me volunteering my time as Catholic Women in Business’ Creative Director, tweaking baked goods recipes in the kitchen, chasing my toddler, reading historical fiction, or starting the day with prayer and pancakes.

Let’s build something that blesses.

MY APPROACH

My approach is deeply relational and rooted in strategy. Every project begins with a discovery conversation: a chance to connect, listen, and discern whether we're the right fit. If we are, we move into an in-depth strategy session where I dig into the heart of your business: your mission, audience, and industry landscape. With over twelve years of experience, I design quickly—but never without intention. I draw inspiration from architecture, fashion, faith, and culture to craft visual identities that reflect your personality, resonate with your clients, and support your growth.

Every design decision is thoughtful and purposeful, always aligned with your values, grounded in your story, and built to move your business forward.

KIND WORDS

“[Lisa] jumped right in, helped us clarify our brand, and then redesigned our website. We’ve had the opportunity to appear on channels like EWTN, and we were proud to have such a beautiful and professional website for the producers to highlight during our interviews.”
